Advert Analysis - MB2




Again the above L'Oreal advert uses the same techniques and narrative structure of all their existing and previous campaigns. The techniques used include: Celebrity Endorsment, Promise of benefit, scientific claim and beauty appeal which are a common theme used by the company.
The advert itself uses the main character as it's chief selling point and focus of the narrative. The advert again uses a colour scheme that is consistant with the colour of the bottle being advertised.   The sound is mostly character dialogue plus a voice over when detailing the scientific claims made in the advert.
Finally the advert closes with a shot of the particular L'Oreal product that is being advertised.
